1. Sponsoring plane tickets/travel arrangements for our guest speakers – $7,500

2. Accommodation expense for guest speakers – $4,760

3. Bhoga for Prasadam and kitchen related items – $4,000

4. Decorations & flowers – $2,000

5. Sound equipment, supplies – $1,500

Total festival expense is approximately $20,000.

Vaishnava Sanga team is brokering the Art of Living accommodation only and you will be asked to pay only for your room/bed during the registration process.

The costs for the festival, separate from accommodations, include Prasadam, sound equipment, flowers, decorations, supplies, and travel expense for speakers (see detailed breakdown in the next answer).

You’re not required to pay for all of these expenses as Vaishnava Sanga Festival is designed in such a way to make participation affordable for everyone.
However, we highly appreciate any voluntary donations, and those who have the ability to donate above the accommodation fee, your contributions will help cover the costs for participants who may not be able to support the event as much financially.

Please be aware that the registration process is based on a third-party fundraising/payment platform Zeffy that will ask you for an OPTIONAL fee when paying for your accommodation. You can choose to select any amount (including $0) in a dedicated dropdown below your total as shown in the picture below:

You can cancel your registration and receive reimbursement up until 30 days before the festival date. After that, reimbursement won’t be possible and your payment will be considered as a donation for supporting the festival.

We recommend that you register and pay online through the website in advance. This helps us to plan, and prepare in a way that we may be able  to serve you better (logistics, Prasadam quantity, number of children participating in the Children program, etc).

Yes. The donation option during registration is optional and you can contribute towards the festival later.

• With Credit/Debit card or by PayPal transfer by clicking “Donate” menu option in the top right corner of any page of this website.
• In person by cash or check at the festival site

Yes. We’ll be issuing donation receipts in person at the festival or you can get a digital copy after the festival via email.

If you are from Ottawa

There will be a transportation provided to/from the festival for those devotees from Ottawa who are planning to attend the whole festival, from August 7 to August 11. Let us know about your transportation request during the registration process in a dedicated field for comments and questions.

If you are planning to attend after Wednesday, August 7, you will have to find someone who are coming for the same dates as you are (no transportation will be provided from our side after Aug 7 as the core team will leave on Wednesday first part of the day).

If you are from Montreal/Toronto

When registering, please let us know in a dedicated field for comments and questions about your transportation request and we will do our best to connect you with some devotees from your city who already registered and might have extra space in the vehicle for you. 

For Toronto devotees there is another option – you can come by bus/train to Montreal and let us know about your arrival time so someone from our team could pick you up from Montreal.

If you are coming by plain from other province/state/country

When registering, please let us know in a dedicated field for comments and questions about your flight arrival time so we could pick you up from the Montreal airport.
